Prior to that, he was an account manager at Metropolitan West Asset Mgt. and a structure analyst at PIMCO. Daniel holds the CFA designation. She received her BA from Yale University in 1988 and her MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1993. Ms. Umland joined Dimensional in 1993 and since 1998 has been a Portfolio Manager and responsible for the international portfolios managed by Dimensional.
