Ms. Umland joined Dimensional in 1993 and since 1998 has been a Portfolio Manager and responsible for the international portfolios managed by Dimensional.

He joined Dimensional in 2001 as a general portfolio manager in U.S. equities, became head of international equities trading in 2004 and assumed his current position in 2006. His financial career began at John Nuveen & Co. in 1997, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions for the health care services division. He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS from Bradley University.
